Argol
Located on the Crozon Peninsula, the Argol climbing area offers accessible and safe climbing in a quiet, wooded setting. Here, you can try bouldering in the upper clearing, tackle the thin and varied slabs, and get started in the Pierrier sector; there are classic routes up to 6b/+ on the large cliff face, as well as the challenging short routes at the “Bloc Perdu.” It’s particularly well-suited for beginners, with routes no longer than 20 m, “sport-style” protection, and top-roping that’s often easy to set up.
